The O-Ring Mod Kit is a great addition to any tray mount case purchase. Use this kit in your next keyboard build to add a more cushioned typing feel and better acoustics. 

To Install:

  1. Make sure standoffs are installed on the case. When using this o-ring mod kit, please make sure that the shorter, 3mm high standoffs from this kit are used. 
  2. Slip one o-ring onto each of the screws. 
  3. Next, insert each screw into the mounting holes located on the pre-assembled module (Switch Plate + Switches/Stabilizers + PCB). 
  4. Flip the module over, and slip one o-ring onto the back of each screw, pushing it tight up against the underside of the PCB. 
  5. Place the module into the case.
  6. Finally, using a Phillips screw driver, gently tighten each screw so that the module is secured to the case. DO NOT overtighten. 

This part is NOT included with keyboard kits and must be purchased separately as an optional add-on.
